‘Locks, Bells and Peeling Wallpaper’ poetry workshop
Saturday 6 & Saturday 19 October 2013, 10.30am – 5.00pm @ Calke Abbey, Derbyshire
Poet Mark Goodwin, with assistance from National Trust volunteers, will guide you on an ‘expedition’ to ‘dig out’ poetic material from this surprising location.

This free workshop, with regional Accreditation Advisor Elaine Sansom, will help you and your museum understand the Accreditation scheme.

Accreditation workshop
Monday 4 November 2013, 10.00am – 3.00pm @ Sharpe’s Pottery Museum, Swadlincote
This free workshop will help you and your museum understand the Accreditation scheme. There will be opportunity to go on a short tour of the museum and have chat to Ruth Buttery from Sharpe’s Pottery who has just completed their Accreditation application, before a one-to-one surgery with regional Accreditation Advisor Elaine Sansom.

Wednesday 6 November 2013, 10.15am – 12.30pm @ TBC
Find out more about Museum Development East Midland’s Engaging Children and Young People programme, meet successful programme participants and hear about their projects and find out more about Arts Award for museums and galleries from East Midlands Bridge organisation The Mighty Creatives.
