Funders

At MDEM not only do we offer our own grants but we also provide support and advice to museums looking to find other external funding.

We recommend all museums in the region who are seeking specific funding opportunities to take a look at the East Midlands Funding Forum, a network which advertises current and localised funding opportunities. You can sign up to their newsletter by emailing them.

You may also find the below information from some of the main sector funders useful:

Arts Council England
Art Fund
Association of Independent Museums
National Lottery Heritage
Museums Association

If you’d like to discuss your funding options further or would like advice in making a funding application, then please contact Claire Browne.
