Collections Support

The collections support programme is managed by the Regional Collections Adviser Anita Hollinshead and includes:

  • A collections enquiry service – please contact Anita with your collections enquiries, she will aim to respond within three working days and can make advisory visits or put you in touch with specialist conservators where appropriate.  This includes providing advice on the Managing Collections section of the Accreditation Standard.
  • The collections access grant fund – organisations that are Accredited or working towards Accreditation can apply for a collections access grant of £100-£1,000 for activities that improve access to their collections.  Please see our grant pages for more information.
  • Advice on sources of funding for collections and conservation projects
  • A programme of collections care and conservation training delivered by collections specialists and the Regional Collections Adviser.  Delivery partners include Collections Trust and the University of Lincoln Conservation Department.

Please contact Anita if you need training in specific areas of collections care or would like to discuss arranging a tailored session for your organisation.
