The Belper North Mill Trust

The Belper North Mill Trust runs the Derwent Valley Visitor Centre and a small, independent museum in part of ‘Strutt’s North Mill’, a former cotton-spinning mill in Belper, Derbyshire within the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site.

We are looking for new trustees who add value to what we do, who share the ambitions of the Trust and who are prepared to get involved with our vital transformation projects and help us achieve our ambitions. Trustees should be able to demonstrate achievements in their professional, academic or chosen career or the voluntary sector, and illustrate how they can they use their skills for the Trust’s benefit. We value enthusiasm, clear thinking, commitment, and communication skills. Presently, we have trustees with legal, architectural, historical, heritage, museum and accountancy skills and candidates that can add to our skills base will be appreciated.

Trustees are appointed for a three-year term and may be re-appointed.
