Project Manager Vacancy – Woolsthorpe Manor

As project manager you’ll be joining us at the feasibility stage of the project. You’ll be responsible for developing and evaluating feasibility studies and options as part of the wider 3 – 5 year plan to inform the business case that you’ll lead on as one of the key deliverables. You’ll co-ordinate diverse workstreams which together constitute the project activity as a whole but specifically focussing on the ‘People’ element of the project.

Using your creativity you’ll develop and experiment with new ideas for property operating models, transforming the onsite and virtual experience. You’ll work within the National Trust Project Framework and be responsible for the practical and organisational work as well as managing budgets, procuring external services or expertise.

Providing an integrated, professional project management service you’ll lead on finance and work with the small but enthusiastic property team to develop innovative ways of working. You’ll build strong working relationships with this team and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure everyone is kept motivated and up to date with the project programme. You’ll also influence where necessary to ensure results are achieved and communicated.

As an experienced Project Manager working with a visitor focus you’ll be:

•Aware of curatorial and conservation issues
•An inspirational leader
•Self-motivated
•An excellent organiser with the ability to manage conflicting demands
•Knowledgeable in Health & Safety

And it will be helpful if you can demonstrate the following experience on your CV/application;
•Working in a project management role in a multi-disciplinary team across different locations
•Working with external stakeholders.
•Recent example(s) of managing change
