Creswell Heritage Trust are seeking a self motivated individual to co-ordinate Limestone Journeys interpretation projects along the route of the developing Archaeological Way in Derbyshire.
Archaeological Way is a multi-user trail connecting Pleasley Pit Country Park with Creswell Crags. The project will culminate delivering a package of interpretation products before May 2015. The position is part-time, 15 hours per week.
Salary: £21,000 per annum pro rata (fixed term contract for 9 months/we would consider a consultancy for this)
Your role will be to advise and guide in techniques, technology and community research for high-quality, positive and engaging interpretation with partners and community groups, including QR codes and audio/video.
This role also requires providing support to partners in their project delivery, including training and education programmes, heritage management and interpretation, community participation, heritage tourism and events.
Limestone Journeys is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and is located in the district of Bolsover, focusing on the unique landscape and heritage of the north east Derbyshire Magnesian Limestone.
