Jobs: Freelance Tutors required – Cotesbach Educational Trust

Cotesbach Educational Trust, based a mile south of Lutterworth on the A426, is seeking to recruit a bank of freelance tutors for school groups and alternative education programmes. We’re looking for tutors who are passionate about learning.

Salary: Pay range is £9 – £12 per hour dependent on experience.

School visits focus on bringing history to life through maths, music, food and creative approaches to support all core subjects in Key stages 2 & 3. Cotesbach Eductaional Trust alternative education programmes launch in 2014 and will focus on food, life skills, and employability. We are also developing a schools and community WW1 project, to launch in autumn 2014.

Cotesbach Educational Trust are based in a stunning rural setting and their facilities include a Grade II listed fully-restored Georgian Schoolhouse, a Victorian Milking Parlour which is now our toilets and storage area and a Victorian Coach House, which houses 400 year’s worth of archives. They also have a new contemporary activity space, with an oak tree in its centre.

Their bank of freelance tutors will be recruited based on skills, ideas, and experience to deliver programmes and support the education officers in other areas where appropriate. Hours per month will be flexible dependent on bookings.
