Jobs: Creswell Heritage Trust Development Manager – Creswell Crags

The world-famous Ice Age archaeological site of Creswell Crags is seeking an enthusiastic and effective Trust Development Manager to ensure its commercial sustainability, while maintaining its high standards of collections care and use.

The Role
Initially contracted for a year, the post holder will have a key role in preparing the organisation for a review of its structure, working with external advisers to seek new funding sources to ensure the Trust’s ongoing prosperity. Their museum and heritage background will be essential in ensuring that commercial viability is sought while the Trust upholds its charitable aims of education, protection and enhancement of the heritage asset. They should have or be prepared to build up specialist archaeological knowledge.

Contract: fixed-term until August 2015, with review of the post in Spring 2015
Salary: £21,000 per annum
