Leicestershire County Council are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to develop, evaluate and manage the delivery of the formal and informal learning offer across the Leicestershire Museum and Heritage Team’s five fascinating sites: Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre, The 1620s House and Garden, Charnwood Museum, Harborough Museum and Melton Museum. We are in an exciting time, with work underway on creating and resourcing a new programme to be rolled out next Spring, with continued session and resource development over the next five years. The role will need someone with an understanding of the National Curriculum, experience of working with learning groups, developing formal and informal learning sessions, experience of budget management and staff management, including building a team of deliverers.
Our mission is to offer an excellent, relevant and sustainable site-based and digital formal and informal learning provision that meets audience needs, makes efficient use of resources and maximises opportunities for income generation. The role will work alongside colleagues in Creative Learning Services, who specialise in heritage learning in the classroom and in communities, and with the museum’s events team and a wide range of colleagues across the Service.
Job Type: Full Time, 37 hours per week

Salary: £28,704 to £32,241
