Creswell Crags are now seeking to recruit for three positions.

Events and Communications Co-ordinator

Salary: £17,255 pro rota.
Contract: 3 days a week, including some weekend and evening working

Creswell Heritage Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to deliver engaging visitor experiences at Creswell Crags. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the Museum’s events programme and communications strategy and ensuring the sustained high profile of Creswell Heritage Trust within the cultural heritage and museums sector. Other duties will include volunteer recruitment, retention and co-ordination in addition to duty management of the site on a rota basis.

Interpretive Guide Team Leader

Salary: £7.28/ hour.
Contract: 18 hours per week Feb-Oct inclusive and 6 hours per week Nov-Jan inclusive.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will lead our established team of Interpretative Guides, managing the rota and delivering personal development reviews. The successful candidate will have an eye for detail and be able to manage our busy programme of educational and group bookings. Other duties will include the delivery of engaging public tours and educational sessions.

Invitation to tender: Development of Secondary Education Provision

Creswell Heritage Trust is looking for an experienced consultant/team with a background in heritage and/or education to create an innovative, secondary education package for Creswell Crags Museum. Working independently but with input from staff and partners, the consultant will be responsible for developing, piloting and promoting a package that effectively uses the site and collections and builds on the success of the Trust’s primary school provision. This sustainable, relevant and stimulating package should address key curriculum areas and meet the needs of teaching staff.
