The Galleries of Justice Museum is an award-winning visitor attraction in the heart of Nottingham, and we are looking for you to help make this great museum even better!
Are you:
- aged 16 to 24 years old,
- outgoing, enthusiastic and happy to share your opinions,
- interested in museums, heritage, tourism, events, marketing or exhibitions,
- looking to develop skills and experience for your CV, UCAS form or job application,
- and happy to spend a little bit of time at the Galleries of Justice Museum in Nottingham?
What is the Youth Panel?
The NCCL team, at the Galleries of Justice Museum, are hoping to work with young people aged 16 to 24 on an exciting new project. The museum is keen to invite people along to a series of consultation meetings where we are hoping to engage the group with a range of projects. The museum will listen to the views and ideas of the Panel to help inform some of our exciting upcoming work.
The participants will get to work with the staff at the museum and see how museums and similar visitor attractions work. Participants will also gain an invaluable insight into the working world, with an opportunity to develop key transferable skills, such as team-working, communication, creativity and confidence, as they share their views and opinions on subjects such as exhibitions and marketing campaigns, with genuine opportunities for their ideas to be developed and put into practice at the museum.
