Customer Satisfaction and New Audiences Programme – seeking applicants

October 14, 2013

Eight museums from across the East Midlands have begun a two year programme to establish their audience development priorities and start putting them into practice.

The programme is lead by Fiona Elliott and Kate Elliott of DBA Consulting, who have been meeting with museums throughout the summer to talk about their different approaches.

Some of the museums are looking to bring in new kinds of visitors, others want to find out what the visitors they already have think about their offer, while still others are in the midst of big changes and need overarching strategies for audience development.

As well as one-on-one sessions, the programme will include workshops exploring audience development action planning and collecting and using visitor (and non-visitor) data through surveys and other tools. If you are interested in joining the programme or might be interested in signing up for specific sessions, contact Claire Browne, Regional Museum Development Manager at claire.browne@leics.gov.uk.

Full details about the programme and information on how to apply can be found here.

The programme runs until March 2015.
