Risk and Emergency Preparedness Programme Launch
Risk and emergency preparedness can be challenging topics for museums to effectively manage on an ongoing basis. Museum Development East Midlands with the support of the East Midlands Museum Service EMMS) legacy funding, will be launching a brand new three year programme offering a range of support in these areas to ensure staff; buildings and collections are safeguarded as much as possible no matter what the scale of your organisation.
This event will be an opportunity for museums to understand what the Risk and Preparedness Programme will involve and how they can access support.
The day will cover the:
- Risk and Emergency Preparedness Network
- Training and Workshops
- County Forum Support
- Emergency Planning Resources
- Access to specialist advice
Who is this event for?
All museums and heritage sites across the East Midlands are welcome to attend, and we would encourage members of staff responsible for emergency planning and/or risk mitigation to come along.
