English Heritage at-risk bullding survey opportunity

December 4, 2013

English Heritage is helping to co-ordinate the first volunteer crowd-sourcing project to tackle heritage at risk at a local level.

Over the next year or so, English Heritage will be working with local councils and other bodies in the heritage sector, to set up a framework that will allow local groups, universities and others to help carry out surveys of England’s 345,000 Grade II listed buildings.Councils will then be able to use this survey data to target resources on those buildings most at risk.
