Good governance is crucial to the creation and enactment of any strategy, including income diversification. In this course, Cause4 CEO Michelle Wright will consider the roles and responsibilities of Trustees in supporting this area, including:
- Compliance requirements in line with the Fundraising Regulator and Code of Fundraising Practice
- Practical ways in which Trustees of small museums can support new income streams
- Ways to consider and prioritise new income streams for investment in line with organisational vision and mission
This training is suitable for all existing or onboarding Trustees of museums, regardless of experience in fundraising or income diversification.
Who should attend?
This training session is for museums based in either the East Midlands or East of England and is being run jointly by MDEM and Share East. Museums can attend this session as a one off, however it is part of an 8 session training programme focusing on diversifying income.
