This online conference will explore the ways in which museums and historic houses are developing a better understanding of their collections by working collaboratively with different communities to introduce new voices and new stories into their interpretation and documentation.
The day will include a number of case studies alongside practical sessions on the Museum Association’s guidance on decolonising collections; Art Council England’s new guidelines on restitution and repatriation and Collection Trust’s Spectrum 5.1 update on ‘Rethinking Cataloguing’.
The full agenda for the day will be published shortly but you can book your place here.
