Maximising Income From Hires

Session seven in a programme of eight, two-hour workshops on specific topics around income generation, presenting key theory and case studies; allowing for discussion on practical application.

This workshop will support participants to think about how to best use their space to generate income. This might be through regular meeting room hire, through events, or longer-term leasing. The session will include examples of museums who have generated significant income through utilising their buildings, and give top tips for those wishing to start, or grow a room hire business.

Maximum two delegates per organisation. Priority will be given to delegates from non-NPO and non-National museums in the East and West Midlands which are Accredited or officially Working Towards Accreditation. This event is being delivered in partnership with West Midlands Museum Development and Museum Development East Midlands.
