Managing Pests in Museums @ Zoom

This online launch event will be an introduction to pest management in museums and heritage sites and will explore prevention, monitoring, identification and treatment. The session will be suitable for those new to the topic and a refresher for those with more experience.

The launch event will include short films, presentations and a chance to share your experiences of pest management at your site. There will also be a Q&A session and an opportunity to contribute your thoughts on how the new Pest Network should develop.

You can sign up to join the MDEM Pest Network here but you don’t have to do this in order to attend the launch.

There will be three further bite-sized MDEM Pest Network workshops on dealing with Bats, Birds and Rodents during Autumn/ Winter 2021.

Who should attend:

This event is for anyone interested in learning more about pest management in museums, or who would like to share their own experience in this area. It is for museums staff and volunteers from the East Midlands.

Please note by signing up to MDEM training you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.

MDEM is committed to providing all training in an accessible format and have a dedicated budget to enable this. Please indicate as part of booking if you require any further access support or clarification.
