MDEM is pleased to run a network for museum and heritage trustees from organisations of all sizes across the East Midlands.

This network is for individuals who wish to meet and share best practice and peer support from other trustees, but also to gain access to bespoke trustee training and advice in topics such as finance, governance and audience development.

The network meets 2-4 times per a year, and is driven by it’s members. Each Trustee Network meeting is different, but all allow participants to visit another independent organisation, and has a speaker targeted at a particular topic requested by the network.

You do not need to be a trustee at an accredited museum to sign up to the network, it is open to all whose organisations have a heritage focus.

In 2019 MDEM will be hosting their first ever Trustee Conference. Bringing together individuals from all types of museums and heritage sites. Speakers include the Charity Finance  the Association of Independent Museums and the Arts Council England.

The event is being held at Derby Museum on the 3rd April. To find out more please click here.

How to join the network:

The network is free to join and open to all trustees. To join the network please enter your details below. By entering your details you are agreeing to MDEM’s privacy policy. MDEM will not share your contact details though at any point without further explicit permission. You can unsubscribe at any time.
