British Museum 2014 Knowledge Exchange Programme

April 11, 2014

The British Museum is looking for new partners for the 2014 Knowledge Exchange programme.

We are keen to build on our current relationships as well as forging new effective partnerships with museums as well as Arts and heritage organisations who we have not yet had the opportunity to work with.

Organisations who participate in this fully funded programme have the opportunity for a member of their staff to spend 5 days at the British Museum and, in return, host a British Museum colleague for 5 days. The programme offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into another organisation/department, where ideas and skills can be shared. The ethos of the programme is the willingness to create and collaborate to develop varied and meaningful exchanges which are mutually beneficial to both the individual on the exchange and the host organisation.

The programme is funded and administered by the Partnership UK team at the British Museum (funding covers the cost of travel, accommodation and subsistence).

For further details of the remit and scope of the exchange please download full details here.
