We know that many museums in the region are looking to the Arts Council England and the National Heritage Lottery Fund’s emergency funding packages to help them through the current Covid-19 crisis. To aid museums in this area, MDEM are pleased to announce a range of support for non-NPO Accredited museums in the East Midlands wanting to apply to either fund.

We are offering advice and access to targeted consultancy to any eligible museum wishing to apply to one of these funds, who would like some support. This is free to Accredited museums in the East Midlands.

Although we are unable to write applications for museums, we are here to support you through the process. In particular you might wish to contact us for:

• An initial advisory discussion to help you decide which funding route (or routes) might be best for you
• Advice on the application process and how best to formulate your application
• Proof reading of what you’ve already drafted to offer feedback
