Leicestershire and Rutland Heritage Awards 2014
The Leicestershire and Rutland Heritage Awards 2014 are open to any independent museum or heritage group in Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland.
The heritage awards are free to enter and a fantastic opportunity to raise the profile of your museum or heritage group. There are a wide range of categories for your museum or heritage group to enter. They are:
- Bringing heritage alive – download application form here

- Best collection project on a “shoestring” (costing less than £1,000) – download application form here

The Volunteer Museum of Year and Heritage Group of the Year will be selected by a specialist panel of judges from the entries received in the above categories.
Award winners will receive a small cash prize. Certificates will be awarded to winners, runners-up and special projects. The awards ceremony will take place at Snibston Discovery Museum’s Century Theatre, during the early evening, on Thursday 10 April 2014. The ceremony will be hosted by Dave Andrews, from BBC Radio Leicester.
