Museum and Gallery Learning Facilitator

Kettering Museum and Art Gallery & Alfred East Art Gallery

Salary: £8.98 – Per Hour
Closing Date: 28 Aug 2013

Are you passionate about history, heritage and the arts? Are you looking to work with a broad range of users to deliver engaging and innovative learning experiences around these subjects?

Kettering Museum and Art Gallery are looking for Learning Facilitators to join their team based at the Manor House Museum and Alfred East Art Gallery.

They are looking for organised, self-motivated individuals with practical experience in education delivery to devise, enhance, support and deliver museum and gallery education services to a broad range of users; of all ages, including local schools, community groups and other users.

Experience in teaching or informal education with an emphasis on history is essential, along with a passion for bringing heritage to life. You will preferably have knowledge of the National Curriculum.

You will have experience in working with a range of different audience groups, preferably using collections and educational resources to deliver inspiring and engaging interpretations.
