Chair of Trustees for the Military Intelligence Museum
The Military Intelligence Museum Trustees are seeking candidates for the post of Chair of Trustees, which will fall vacant in June 2019 on the retirement of the present Chair. The position is voluntary and part-time. Expenses will be refunded.
Currently located in a military base at Chicksands in Bedfordshire, the Military Intelligence Museum incorporates the Intelligence Corps Collection & Archive, the Y-Service (SIGINT) Collection, the BRIXMIS Collection and the ‘USA at Chicksands’ Collection. The Medmenham Collection (aerial imagery/IMINT) is co-located with the Museum but has its own Board of Trustees and does not fall within the governance of the Museum. The Museum is an MOD-funded Corps Museum and is registered with The Charity Commission. The Museum is currently planning and funding a multi-million-pound project to establish a second Museum at Milton Bryan, on the Duke of Bedfords estate near Woburn Abbey. The move is scheduled to be completed by 2023.
Interviews will be taking place in June.
