Case studies from our Collections Development programme

  • Ashby de la Zouch Museum, Leicestershire, ‘Introducing bar codes for location and movement control’ case study, 2012-13
  • Case Study: cleaning a case of Great and Little Bustard, Louth Museum, Lincolnshire 2015-16

MDEM funded a place at the Social History Curators Group (SHCG) 2016 for a curator from the region wishing to expand their knowledge and experience in this particular field. This was awarded to Sara Basquill, Collections Access Officer at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life & Gainsborough Old Hall. Sara wrote a report and case study of her experiences:
