A bumper season for Oundle Museum

Posted on December 18, 2014
A bumper season for Oundle Museum

Oundle Museum have had a bumper season this year closing at the end of November with our exhibition ‘Cabinets of Curiosities’ which proved to be very popular with local residents and visitors.

Oundle Museum have also unveiled their new improved website. With the help of a grant from MDEM of £1,000, the museum were able to enlist the help of a local marketing business Qi Marketing and Design, to ‘re-vamp’ their website to something more modern and user friendly. Oundle Museum are pleased to report, that comments received about the website so far have been very complimentary.

What’s next for Oundle?

Oundle Museum are now working on our new exhibition for 2015 which may be called ‘Oundle in 1851’!, museum staff aren’t sure of the title yet but this particular year, has been chosen because the 1851 census shows the many occupations, trades and traders in the town at the time. The ,museum team are now hard at work researching these occupations, trades and traders for the exhibition.
