Accreditation Standard Business Development Museum Accreditation Scheme

At the root of every business – whether a museum or otherwise –  is a great forward plan, that is realistic, achievable, agreed by all your team and helps that organisation move forward. A good forward plan helps you make the most of opportunities that come your way, and to ward off challenge if that comes too

A robust and effective forward plan is at the core of Museum Accreditation and helps a museum team create focus. However, creating one that is focused, achievable and understood by all can be a daunting task too far. This course is aimed at all museum teams who would like to increase their knowledge on how to create a great forward plan – and then apply those skills back in their own museum. Aimed at all Museums, whether volunteer led or with paid staff, and workshop based, this practical course will equip you with the skills to create a forward plan that will create positive results for your museum. It is really helpful for those Museums wanting to benefit from this to send two staff/volunteers, so they can work together during the day on ideas that can then be shared more effectively back at each museum.
