This one-day workshop is for museums who are seeking to make good quality exhibition content on modest budgets. It will feature examples from across the museum and heritage sector of good practice that doesn’t cost the earth and seeks to inspire you to make cost-effective choices for your museum. Participants will be invited to submit images of examples of exhibits they have made themselves or that they have seen in other museums. There will be a practical exercise in the afternoon where attendees are invited to design a simple display. The workshop will be led by Steve Slack, a heritage consultant with 15 years experience of making exhibitions on both large and small scales. www.steveslack.co.uk
