Environmental Monitoring at the Museum

The day will begin with an overview of the museum environment and recommended standards for collections care before a more detailed look at environmental monitoring and the different equipment available. Delegates will explore how to interpret the data collected and how to make improvements based on the findings. There will also be an opportunity to look at the monitoring equipment being used at the National Holocaust Centre and Museum. Pest monitoring and management will also be discussed and there will be a pest identification practical activity. Delegates will receive a pack of handouts and details of where to go for additional information.
