A partridge in a pear tree: how to deal with birds in your museum @ Online

The third and final bite-sized MDEM Pest Network workshops in 2021 will be an introduction to preventing and controlling pigeons and other birds in order to stop them from damaging your site and collections and posing a health risk to your staff, volunteers and visitors. How to safely clean up nest materials, droppings and dead birds will also be discussed as will ensuring that the birds themselves are protected from harm.

You can sign up to join the MDEM Pest Network here but you don’t have to do this in order to attend the event.

Who should attend:

This event is for anyone interested in learning more about pest management in museums, or who would like to share their own experience in this area. It is for museums staff and volunteers from the East Midlands.
