Applications for 2014/15 Clore Museum Fellowships Now Open

Clore Leadership programme
Posted on January 22, 2014

The Clore Leadership Programme is currently inviting applications for two Museum Fellowships, from exceptional individuals working in England, with the potential to take on a significant leadership role within the Museums sector in England.

The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Friday 7 February 2014.

The Fellowship Programme supports the personal and professional development of leaders through in-depth learning, tailored to the needs, ambitions and circumstances of around twenty-five individuals a year, with the aim of building an innovative and resilient cultural sector. Fellows benefit from unparalleled access to experienced leaders, a diverse peer group and extensive networks.

The structure of the programme includes:

  • two residential leadership courses
  • three-month placement to gain practical experience in a cultural organisation
  • bespoke learning opportunities
  • individually-selected training, mentoring and coaching.

Fellows take a total of about eight months away from work to focus on the programme. A bursary or compensation to their employer of £15,000 is available to all Fellows, supported by Arts Council England.
