Trustees wanted – Cotesbach Educational Trust

April 3, 2014

Cotesbach Educational Trust are seeking to recruit new Trustees, to join the Executive Board.

Cotesbach Educational Trust is a start up SME and registered charity in Cotesbach south of Lutterworth. In spring 2013 we completed a Heritage Lottery funded renovation of three old buildings (a Georgian Schoolhouse, Milking Parlour, and Victorian Coach House which now houses 400 years’ worth of archives). The building works also provided a new café/activity space.

Cotesbach Educational Trust are now moving into a new phase of activity, programming, fundraising and audience development delivering and hosting a broad range of learning opportunities for all under the broad themes of Heritage, Environment, and the Arts.

The Trust is staffed by a part-time project director and education officer and supported by a team of enthusiastic volunteers. We’re looking for Trustees to join our Executive Board with confidence and expertise in the following areas:

  • Heritage
  • Archives
  • Fundraising
  • Marketing
  • Business (advice, sponsorship, and networking)
  • Education (across school, FE and HE)

An average commitment of around 1 – 2 hours per week and attendance at quarterly board meetings are a minimum requirement. We’re seeking Trustees who are as passionate as we are and can muck in and help us succeed. We’re also keen to hear from Trustees who would be confident setting up a working party on behalf of the board in their area of expertise.
