Funding News – Shire Grants

Leicestershire County Council Shire Grants programme still has funding available during 2013-14.

Grants of up to £500 can be applied for, to support the preservation of Leicestershire’s heritage assets.

Who is eligible to apply?

Museums or heritage venues that are members of the Leicestershire & Rutland Heritage Forum and are located within the County of Leicestershire are eligible to apply.

Applicant museums should already meet, or be working towards meeting the standards required of Arts Council England’s Museum Accreditation scheme; however, it is not a requirement that museums are fully Accredited.

Shire Grant payments will be issued in advance of a project commencing. Evidence of how the Shire Grant has been spent will need to be submitted by the 28 February 2014.

The Shire Grants programme is open to new applicants now.
