About the post
The successful applicant will contribute towards the long term sustainability of Northampton Museum and Art Gallery by identifying and securing sources of additional funding, sponsorship and commercial income from both the public and private sectors. In addition they will develop and implement, in collaboration with colleagues, the museum’s events programme in order that it achieves high levels of attendance and generates a financial surplus.
Applicants must have a relevant degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of five years working in a similar position in a museum, arts centre, theatre or similar cultural or artistic organisation. They should have the skills and confidence to prepare reports, bids and proposals, and make presentations to potential providers of funding.
