Job Op – Heritage Officer, St Helen’s

The PCC of St Helen’s Church, Ashby de la Zouch, wishes to appoint a:

Heritage Officer

0.6 FTE, 3 year contract

£24,500 pro rata

 

To play a key role in the development and delivery of a Heritage Lottery funded project based in both St Helen’s Church and the adjacent Community Heritage Centre. This major project aims to bring to life the heritage and history of the Church and improve the experiences and learning opportunities for visitors of all ages.

The overall purpose of the post is to ensure the success of the St. Helen’s Heritage Project, including the delivery of an activity programme which emphasises the heritage of the Church and promotes it to a wider audience, as part of the St Helen’s Heritage Project.

The successful candidate will have proven experience developing and delivering innovative education provision, working with volunteers, developing and delivering a programme of public engagement activities and excellent organisational and communication skills.
