East Midlands Heritage Volunteering Group Forum
Join us for the very first East Midlands Heritage Volunteering Group Forum
11th March, 11.30am – 2pm, Melton Museum
Let’s support each other to transform volunteering in the heritage sector!
What will the regional forum do?
Bring together like-minded people, offer some peer support, opportunity for networking, sharing and new partnerships, feed into the national HVG conference, keep up-to-date on sector news.
What is the Heritage Volunteering Group?
The Heritage Volunteering Group (HGV) is a national network of volunteer management groups who come together with the aim of connecting, sharing best practice and building sustainability through collaboration.
Until now, East Midland’s is the only region which does not have a regional forum feeding in to this.
Who is it for?
Leaders and practitioners from across the Heritage sector, from the natural to the built environment, from volunteer led organisations to national museums, trusts and groups. Everyone is welcome.
How to sign up:
The event is free to attend, and a networking lunch is provided. RSVP is essential, please contact Amanda.Hanton@leics.gov.uk
