Care of Larger and Working Historic Objects

Inspired by ABTEM’s new Guidelines for the Care of Larger and Working Historic Objects the day will include an introduction to the guidelines, case studies and practical advice, exploring some real examples of larger and working objects at Crich and a tram ride.
There will be presentations by representatives of ABTEM including personal case studies, Lincoln Conservation, Heckington Windmill, Crich Tramway Village.
This one day overview is aimed at all organisations who look after large and working objects. This may include vehicles, steam engines, mills and other similar objects and buildings.

Teas and coffees will be provided throughout the day. Delegates are asked to make their own lunch arrangements by either brining a packed lunch, or there is an on-site cafe.
