Creative Employment Programme seeks applications from East Midlands Museums

August 12, 2014

This £15 million Arts Council England fund, managed by Creative & Cultural Skills, can support Museums with the costs of creating apprenticeships and paid internships.

The fund has already helped over 700 arts and cultural organisations create nearly 2000 jobs for unemployed young people aged 16-24.

But to date just 4% of these jobs have come from the East Midlands, and in this area of rich cultural heritage only one is based in a Museum.

With the fund ending in March 2015 now is the time to see how your Museum could benefit, either by applying to the CEP directly or joining the Collection Trust’s CEP consortium.

Visit the Creative Employment website or email cep@ccskills.org.uk to find out more.
